Chapala Bay Cotons is located outside of Sundre, Alberta. You will enjoy a puppy bred with integrity in mind. At Chapala Bay Cotons we lead by example. We have many pillars of importance, namely: A Canadian Coton de Tulear Club Code of Ethics breeder who focusses on Genetic diversity (low COI means a robust and healthy dog), healthy happy parent dogs that lead a good life (a healthy environment), well-socialized puppies, and continuous learning that we apply to our kennel daily in practice. We give back by volunteering our time to improve this rare and beautiful breed. You could not be in better hands.
Renee has transitioned from her career in Human Resources Management in order to pursue raising these beautiful dogs. Renee is a caring, wonderful person. She has a BSc with a major in Biology as well as her Masters of Science degree. She understands the importance of genetic diversity and breeding responsibly. She shares the Chapala Bay Philosophy and is very thrilled to bring Chapala Bay Cotons into the future. Renee is currently serving as President, for the Canadian Coton de Tulear Club (CCTC). She also serves on the CCTC Health Committee.
Chapala Bay provides a healthy environment for our coton parent dogs and puppies. We leave nothing to chance. From the best nutrition to copious amounts of safe and toxic-free play spaces, daily doggie walks, keeping informed on all information that could affect our dogs, and providing ample cuddle time, our dogs are well rounded, robust and happy. See for yourself!
We are firm believers in responsible breeding. We are a Code of Ethics Breeder with the Canadian Coton de Tulear Club. We also belong to the CFC (Canine Federation of Canada) and CKC (Canadian Kennel Club).
We are firm believers in positive based training classes. We promote Training classes for you and your puppy in order to help establish communication and strengthen the bond with your dog. Our goal is to help you and puppy learn each-other and start off on the right paw together!
You can also find us on our Chapala Bay Cotons Facebook Page. I do update my website more than my FB page. We have a secret Chapala Bay Family Group for our puppy adopters. If you have a pup from us and haven't joined, please send me a note for an invitation.
